The world has gone to shit.
This is nothing new. If you've been paying attention, nothing has actually changed… except for more people noticing it
I was planning my comeback album to be a double disc affair tackling my mental health, but the world doesn't need that from me right now, so I'm putting it on the back burner.
I started writing a two-part album in late 2023. When I revisited the lyrics recently, I realized I’d already written exactly what feels necessary right now.
The first part of the album was mostly written already and it was eerie how prescient it all seemed now. So I finished that up and decided to use the new fuel from recent events to write the second part.
I wrote the second part throughout one day, in what felt like a fever dream, but it's exactly what I feel needs to be said now. Sometimes you just have to trust your instincts.
We don't choose our moments, the moment chooses us.
That being said, I will have these two albums out hopefully sooner than later.
I'm hungry for it, and I hope anyone who's along for the ride is too.
